Hunting Preparation Classes
This is our second most popular class after the license to carry. Working directly with you, or in co-operation with your hunting outfitter, we will get you in the best shape possible when it comes to shooting and kit for your hunt.
If you need to work on long range shooting or snaps and movers, or learn a new caliber, new scope, or even move into our long range muzzleloaders we have you covered.
The typical hunting prep class covers multiple visits over multiple weeks as we will give you more skills to master between visits so we can maintain stewardship of your skillset and help you advance.
In a typical class we cover:
Morning:
Backpack loadout
Medical kit and use (can be a separate class covering TCCC etc.)
Kestrel weather meters and ballistics
Glassing products like spotting scopes and binoculars
Afternoon:
Rifle and setup
Rifle accessories, bipods, tripods and slings
Shooting from all positions
Follow up classes:
Shooting skills fundamentals
Longer range shooting out to 1000+ yards
Stress shooting and performance under stress
Spartan products specific class (if needed)
Thermal and Night Vision hunting
